Press Interview at ABN Smartup Festival Launch with ABN's Founder, I.K Adusei
Unite hosted young start ups and aspiring entrepreneurs in Ghana at the newly created SmartUp Festival on Friday, 7th November, 2014, 11:30am-2:00pm and on subsequent first Fridays of every month at the LECIAD American Corner, University of Ghana.
The November 7th SmartUp Festival is of the topic “Entrepreneurship & Technology: Using social media as a drive for small business growth.” The event will be facilitated by Mr. Kwabena Akuamoah-Boateng, Social Media Assets Manager, US Embassy Accra & Nelson Klutse, CEO Intruptiv Tehnologies & creator of photo sharing app SUBA.
The Smartup Festival is a nonprofit motivated support to young start ups and aspiring entrepreneurs to get growth in the economy and to create more jobs. It is a platform for business networking, capacity building and business opportunities showcase for start ups and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The ABN Smartup Festival has support from the IRC US Embassy.
ABN SmartUp Festival is a monthly held practical knowledge base, networking and start up opportunity platform where entrepreneurs and professional business educators, and change movers of society come together for technical business information, experience, advice and opportunity presentations for start ups and aspiring entrepreneurs, predominantly between the ages of 18-35. The aim of ABN SmartUp Festival is to create a platform for networking and capacity building and to create business opportunity areas for start ups to enhance their business growth and reduce start ups collapse, thus promote economic growth and create sustainable jobs in Africa.
